Hello local creatives! Thank you for your interest in becoming part of River City Marketplace.

RCMP is a curated market focused on supporting handmade artists, makers, vintage curators, small businesses, and quality food vendors while creating unique, community driven events throughout the Sacramento region. We receive a high volume of applications and carefully review each one to ensure the best fit for our events, venues, audience, and overall vendor mix.

We aren’t just event producers, we’re vendors too. We understand the time, energy, creativity, and heart that go into building a small business, whether you’re just starting out or have been doing this for years.

Our goal is to create events that feel welcoming, supportive, organized, and worthwhile for both vendors and the community we serve.

Please read the following information carefully before applying.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Applications are reviewed once per month. Due to the number of submissions we receive, we are only able to contact vendors who have been accepted into River City Marketplace.

  • If accepted, you will receive an approval email with instructions on how to access our Vendor Portal and purchase booth spaces for upcoming events.

  • If you are not selected at this time, we welcome you to reapply after 6 months, as our event needs, themes, and vendor openings are always evolving.

  • Please do not submit more than one application. Multiple submissions will not increase your chances of acceptance and make processing more difficult on our end.

  • Once approved, vendors will register for events through the Vendor Portal using the instructions provided in their approval email. Approved vendors do not need to reapply for each event.

  • Applicants with an active website or public social media presence do not need to send additional product photos, as applications will be reviewed using the links provided.

  • Applicants without a website or social media presence must submit clear photos of their products, branding, and booth setup in a separate email or the application will not be considered.

  • RCMP events are curated and juried. A strong and active online presence helps us better review your business and may increase your chances of acceptance. Applicants with little to no online presence may have a lower chance of being selected.

  • Wholesalers, direct sales companies, and manufactured or mass produced items are not permitted, with the exception of curated vintage goods and vintage brands.

  • All food vendors must have current MEV permitting.

  • Vendors are responsible for making sure they have a current sellers permit.
