Make/Do Sacramento

River City Marketplace is made possible with the generous contributions from our brand and community sponsors. Read more about each sponsor's business and pay them a visit at our next event!

Make/Do Sacramento is a way to be part of Sacramento's rediscovery of the value of the arts and handmade work.

The owner, former librarian Lori Easterwood, runs Make/Do Sacramento, a vintage, fabric and handmade goods shop in Oak Park. The cozy boutique features rare and vintage fabrics, antiques, craft materials and locally handmade products including jewelry, ceramics and bags.

The shop highlights the talent of local artisans and help makers find inspiration in beautiful fabric and crafting kits. In addition to hard-to-find fabrics, Make/Do sells embroidery craft kits with retro patterns and fabric yo-yo kits (round quilt toppers made of gathered scraps of leftover fabric) that Easterwood constructed.

Visit Make/Do Sacramento at River City Marketplace on October 8th for a sampling of the amazing shop! Connect with them on Facebook or Instagram, or stop by Oak Park on the weekends.
